What is Parenting in After Effects? And how do you use it?

In this special tutorial we take a look at a basic concept in After Effects, parenting. Parenting is a way for you to link one layer to another. When you attach “Layer B” to “Layer A,” Layer A will follow the Scale, Rotation, or Position animations as Layer B.

This video is a preview of our full course, called The After Effects Roadmap: For Beginners, where you learn all you need to know to get started using After Effects and creating awesome motion graphics. Enjoy!
